Do you like Indian food? Or are you an Indian who wants to get a taste of home?
Then I recommend Masala Kitchen in Bucheon, South Korea.

The vibe is quite unique with a key color of orange. The interior design looks so interesting with the huge chandeliers, some white lamps and even iron cups and a small elephant candle holder! 🙂 It’s definitely far from modern, but very exotic and unusual. My expectations grew because it’s my first time eating Indian food in a proper restaurant.

I visit there with my friend, and we order the Set Menu for two, consisting of salad, tandoori chicken with curry (choose one), rice, Nan(choose one), and beverage (soda or beer). We choose garlic Nan and Chicken Makhni. In fact, not only me but also my company doesn’t have any experience with Indian restaurants before, so we decided just to believe our sense.
While we are talking, the first dish is served: salad and beverage.
it’s not much special but I like the dressing of it. Honestly, I have a very dull sense of taste. So it’s hard to guess the ingredients, but the light and savory source is good.
If I have to point out a bit of disappointment, it takes some time before the main dish. But it was not that boring as we kept talking about our common interests. Finally, all the dishes come out.

Rice : relatively less moisture than typical Korean rice, but it’s really my taste.
Garlic Nan : the source on the surface is great! Well seasoned so that it’s even good to have it alone
Chicken Makhni Curry : unlike its red color, not at all spicy but too sweet to me
Tandoori Chicken : the smell of smoke is great!! At first, I think it might be dry, but it’s not.
Overall, the food is great. Regarding the curry, maybe my luck is not enough to choose all the food perfectly to my taste. Moreover, considering the total price, I’m happily willing to revisit the restaurant with my friends to have a meal at a reasonable cost.
